SmackDown vs RAW 2009 is going to have plenty of new features this year unlike the previous games. they are right now actually in competition with TNA iMPACT AND their new video game.

On March 27, 2008, IGN released their first video game trailer and screenshots for SmackDown vs. Raw 2009. The trailer featured The Hardys (Matt and Jeff) in a tag team match against Randy Orton and Mr. Kennedy at the SummerSlam pay-per-view, where the new tag team match features were explained.
A THQ representative confirmed that the video game will include a "create-a-finisher" feature, with over 500 animations to make unique finishers. Also custom soundtracks and voice chat functionality for the PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360 version were confirmed.The game will also include an enhanced tag team match as well as new features for the match, such as: the hot tag to save the player in the match if the player is taking a beating but can also be reversed, enhanced double team moves, the forced tag, the pull down move, the apron hold and double team finishers.[The Wii version will now include new matches, such as the steel cage and ladder match. The Wii version will get a career mode for the first time and new features, as explained by IGN: "the Wii copy of SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 will be the only place to find interactive entrances and victory celebrations that range from posing on the ramp to slapping the taste out of a beaten opponent. Successfully get the crowd hyped on your way to the ring and you'll get an in-match bonus." THQ stated that the game will provide downloadable content, a feature to keep the game as up to date as possible.The game will re-introduce a career/season mode with co-op storylines, entitled Road to WrestleMania, which replaces the previous version's career/season mode, 24/7 Mode.
Also, an inferno match has been confirmed by PlayStation magazine.

| nope. Ur computer is TOOOOOO Slow for PS2 emulator. I mean damn NBA STREET 3(1 of the oldest games for PS2 from 2003-4) was very slow and the graphic was a little awful in my computer( 3ghz, 1 gb ram, 256 Radeon x800 series) _________________ |
